2021年のADA（旭川デザイン協議会）展は「こども」をテーマに、オンラインとリアル（会場：デザインギャラリー）の両方で実施。 ADAの会員が「こども」のために作った作品や、楽しい表現の作品などが展示されたほか、「こどもデザイン教室」のワークショップがオンラインで開催されました。また、特別展示として「君の椅子プロジェクト」を紹介。2006年の初回から、毎年第一線で活躍するデザイナーがデザインを手がけ、旭川の職人が製作してきた「君の椅子」が一堂に展示されました。会期中には、同プロジェクト代表・磯田憲一氏によるトークイベントも行われました。

ADA 2021 Exhibition Designs for Kids

The theme of the ADA (Asahikawa Design Association) Exhibition 2021 was Children, and it was held both online and in-person. The exhibition included art work for children created by members of the ADA, and works of art expressing happiness. In addition, a workshop titled the “Kids Design Class” was held online. A special exhibition of the Your Chair project that started in 2006 was also showcased. It included a display of the Your Chair collection, designed by leading designers and manufactured by Asahikawa’s very own artisans. Ken’ichi Isoda, a representative of the project, gave a special talk during the event.
